Fire & Stone is an exploration and worker-placement game about the first human migrations. Players move tribes across a face-down landscape, revealing locations, collecting food and inventions, and constructing huts that establish a growing presence. Each site offers a small tactical choice, while objectives and end-game scoring encourage distinct routes through the same emerging world. Klaus-Jürgen Wrede’s design keeps the rules approachable while using discovery, timing, and spatial competition to make every map develop differently.
