Fighting Fantasy Adventures adapts the classic solo gamebooks into a card-driven cooperative campaign for one to four players. Event cards replace numbered paragraphs, modular locations reveal the map as the party explores, and dice resolve combat and tests without a gamemaster. Four heroes bring distinct roles to the table and gain persistent abilities between adventures. Five scenarios based on The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Island of the Lizard King, Deathtrap Dungeon, and The Forest of Doom create roughly ten to fifteen hours of connected play.
