Fief: France is a dynastic strategy game set in the medieval kingdom of France. Players expand family influence through villages and fiefs, collect income, recruit troops, and pursue royal and ecclesiastical titles. Elections can elevate a family member to King or Pope, while marriages create binding alliances that may win together until annulment, death, or betrayal changes the political map. Event cards bring harvests, famine, plague, and other disruptions, making diplomacy and contingency planning as important as military strength.
