Escape Tales: Children of Wyrmwoods is a standalone narrative puzzle adventure and the third game in the Escape Tales line. Players guide Gilbert through a hostile dark-fantasy world by exploring locations, examining cards, solving riddles, and entering answers into the companion app. There is no countdown: the pressure comes from limited action tokens, difficult moral choices, and the consequences those choices create. Useful item cards and character progression open different paths, while a nonlinear story can lead to more than sixty endings. The box supports one to four players, but everyone collaborates over the same decisions and discoveries. Nothing must be destroyed, so the campaign can be paused, reset, or passed to another group after its long, chapter-based journey.
