Dionysia is a two-player drafting and pattern-building game played with eighteen cards. Each turn, a player takes a scene from the central stage and adds it to a developing drama, either beginning a new act or extending the top or bottom of an existing one. Every play may contain up to three acts of three scenes, and the key scene at the top of each act determines both its power and the pattern that act will score. When both dramas are complete, careful composition earns the favor of the gods.
