Desperate Oasis is a compact two-player lane battler about animals competing for scarce water. A row of Oasis cards defines the battlefield, and players alternate placing Animal cards on either side of those locations. Matching animals group together and tug control toward their side, while card powers and palm tokens create sharp tactical reversals. Because cards can be committed to your own side or used to disrupt an opponent’s formation, every play balances immediate strength against the shape of later turns. After three brisk rounds, the player who claimed the most valuable oases wins.
