Read the full game description

Cry Havoc is a man-to-man medieval wargame in which every counter represents a named knight, archer, sergeant, peasant, or animal. Scenario forces maneuver across richly illustrated hex maps, paying movement costs for terrain and using facing, line of sight, missile fire, melee odds, wounds, and morale to resolve close tactical stories. Mounted characters can be unhorsed, wounded fighters flip to reduced sides, and buildings, slopes, hedges, and narrow approaches turn each map into a positional puzzle. The scenarios range from raids and ambushes to peasant uprisings, giving the approachable core system a strong narrative character and providing the foundation for a long family of compatible games.
