Crown of Roses is a multiplayer block wargame about the dynastic struggle for fifteenth-century England. Each player directs a royal house, using multi-purpose cards to recruit nobles, gather supplies and prestige, influence the gentry, maneuver armies, and unleash events. Rotating blocks conceal strength and wear down in battle, while Parliament creates a political contest alongside the military campaign. Variable deployments and military, political, and economic victory routes make every struggle for the crown develop differently.
