Countryside is a worker-placement and engine-building game about shaping a productive farm from a compact deck of cards. Players expand into fields, meadows, gardens, barns, and houses, then add crops, trees, animals, and staff whose effects feed one another. Workers select actions, sunlight governs development, and baskets move between empty, filled, and coin states as produce is gathered, processed, and sold. Public and private goals reward efficient planning, but the end is triggered by reputation, so the winning farm must grow quickly as well as elegantly.
