Codenames: Critical Role Adventures reshapes the word-association classic into a fully cooperative campaign game. One player serves as Game Master, giving one-word clues that help the party identify heroes, places, and ideas from Exandria while avoiding dangerous cards. Three branching campaigns introduce mission-specific objectives and rule twists. Seven heroes drawn from Critical Role’s first three campaigns gain levels, unlock asymmetric abilities, and equip item cards as the party advances toward a final boss. The familiar clue-giving puzzle stays accessible, but progression and scenario pressure give each mission a distinct arc.
