Catan Geographies: Germany reshapes the familiar resource economy of Catan around a fixed map of modern Germany. Players begin with three town halls, roll for resources, trade with one another, and spend cards to extend roads toward open city sites. Reaching those cities establishes new town halls and improves future production. Players can also construct twelve modeled landmarks, from castles to monuments, placing each at its printed location for victory points. The map makes route planning more deliberate than on a random island, while negotiation and dice-driven production preserve the social rhythm of Catan. The target is twelve points with three players and ten with four.
