Castellans is a city-building game of action drafting, dice-driven resources, and competing guild influence. Over five months, players expand the city of Kosk with districts, develop productive neighborhoods, convert resources into valuable goods, and choose when to claim actions before rivals close off the best timing windows. Variable player powers support distinct approaches, but the city remains shared: placement changes the geography and area influence that everyone must navigate. The winner is the builder who balances efficient growth with the political reach required to be named Magistrate.
