Boreal is a two-player card-drafting game about explorers recovering knowledge from the ruins of a lost world. A shared row of site cards presents the available discoveries, while each explorer’s compass track determines what can be afforded and reached. Cards may be built into a ten-card pyramid or reserved for later, and exposed sites replenish the resources needed for future construction. Every placement changes both access and scoring, producing a brisk contest of timing, denial, and efficient tableau building.
