Bohemians follows struggling artists through the streets and cafés of fin-de-siècle Paris. Each round asks players to arrange cards into a daily routine whose adjacent symbols and timing create the resources, inspiration, and opportunities needed to make art. New habits, social encounters, jobs, and muses enter the deck, but practical obligations and hardship cards make an efficient life difficult to sustain. Pattern building gives the deck-builder its distinctive rhythm: it is not enough to acquire a strong card, because it must appear in a sequence that tells a coherent day and triggers the right combinations. Completing masterpieces supplies the clearest path to recognition, while achievements reward a particular artistic life and shared events shape the table’s tempo. A dedicated solo mode preserves the same planning puzzle, and the multiplayer game adds competition for cards, achievements, and the best route through a romantic but unforgiving creative career.
