Battlefields of the Napoleonic Wars is a streamlined tactical wargame system designed to bring historical battles to the table quickly. Players command infantry, cavalry, artillery, and leaders across hex-grid maps, choosing when to issue orders, rally formations, or commit scarce activation markers. Unit facing and physical formation—line, column, square, or disorder—make maneuver readable at a glance, while custom dice resolve fire, assault, reaction, and battlefield hazards without long modifier tables. The base box includes Austerlitz, La Coruña, Hagelberg, and Rivoli, with a dedicated aide-de-camp system for solo play.
