Avant Carde is a brisk deck-building game about assembling increasingly impressive cubist exhibitions. Everyone simultaneously lays out cards by matching colors or numbers, earns money for each piece displayed, and spends it on better art from the shared gallery. Patron powers twist the value of particular numbers, while culling and careful purchases turn an awkward starter collection into a reliable award engine.
