Australis is a dice-drafting family strategy game about exploring Australia’s coast and supporting its marine life. On a turn, players select dice from a shared pool, then use their values to move ships, collect cards, attract turtles, or strengthen habitats along the route. The available dice shape every round, so a useful action for one player may also be the number an opponent needs. Cards and animal sets provide flexible scoring paths, while the race around the coastline creates visible timing pressure. Its rules are accessible, but efficient combinations depend on balancing immediate movement with long-term habitat growth. Variable dice, card availability, and competition for the best actions make each voyage distinct across two to four players.
