Ashes Ascendancy is a complete entry point into the expandable Ashes card system. Each player commands a Phoenixborn and a focused deck of allies, conjurations, reactions, and spells, with custom magic dice supplying the symbols that power every plan. Competitive matches reward careful sequencing, bluffing, and resource conversion, while solo and cooperative Dragonborn battles turn the same card pool toward a shared foe. The starter set includes two ready-to-play Phoenixborn decks, an automated Dragonborn opponent, and enough dice to begin deck construction immediately.
