Ape Town is a Reiner Knizia tile-placement game about rival primate gangs competing for the best districts in a growing city. Players draft or buy tiles, extend the shared hex map, and place transparent influence discs where new neighborhoods create immediate and future value. Every placement changes the worth of nearby territory, so timing a quick payout must be weighed against investing in long-term majority control. Money is both a resource and a source of leverage in the race to become the dominant silverback.
