Alliance is a grand strategic Napoleonic game built around the Columbia Block System. One to seven players guide the era’s major powers while courting minor states, financing allies, building forces, and fighting land and naval campaigns. Blocks preserve fog of war and lose strength by rotation, while yearly alliances can include tribute, border settlements, and non-aggression terms. Card-driven actions and a dedicated political phase make diplomacy inseparable from military planning, and the included solo structure allows the system to be explored without a full table.
