Algae, Inc. is a demanding economic game in which each player manages a different department of an algae-processing company. Operators, engineers, and scientists move through a shared action queue while personal factory boards transform algae into food, cosmetics, bioplastics, or biofuel. Hiring staff, improving machines, and opening locations across Europe can make a department more efficient, but each improvement competes for space and timing. Science tiles enhance future actions, engineer tiles reshape the production line, and company milestones reward departments that reach shared objectives first. Four workweeks give the game a clear arc: early investments must become a coordinated engine before the final accounting. Asymmetric departments and tightly connected decisions make every production plan feel distinct.
