Aeon’s End: The Descent is a standalone cooperative deck-building game about the perilous founding of Gravehold. Players become breach mages, purchase spells and relics from a shared supply, prepare magic in open breaches, and coordinate against a nemesis controlled by an unpredictable turn-order deck. As in the wider Aeon’s End system, player decks are never shuffled; discard order becomes a strategic tool for planning future hands. A replayable narrative links battles without requiring permanent changes, while the new Friends & Foes module introduces independent allies and adversaries with their own initiative cards and behavior decks. All included material can also integrate with compatible Aeon’s End sets.
